Daniel and Jean

PAWS Director of Volunteer Services Daniel Marlay and one of our fabulous interns, Jean Kim.

Jobs at PAWS

“When I was hired to intern at PAWS I knew it was going to be a great experience for me, but nothing would prepare me for everything that I would experience during my internship. I learned everything from fundraising, volunteering, recruiting, training, to client relations. It was truly an eye-opening experience and the things I learned will carry me with confidence through the rest of the school year, as well as into my career life. One of the aspects I really loved in this internship was all the opportunities that were given to me to really get hands on experience in dealing with people with both mental and physical disabilities. It truly humbled me and gave a deeper understanding of what these people had to go through everyday. I really saw how their pets were what helped them get through the day and the fact that I was able to help them keep what was most important to them in their life was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget. I feel so fortunate that I was able to spend my summer working with amazing people and learning how to really make a difference in people’s lives. Thank you for everything!”
